Key Takeaways
  • Since arriving in Lake Charles last week, we have gotten straight to work and have had a busy Labor Day holiday weekend.
  • Please take into consideration that we do not have the capacity to house or feed our volunteers at this time.

Since arriving in Lake Charles last week, we have gotten straight to work and have had a busy Labor Day holiday weekend. Together with our partner #IOCC, we have assisted four families with clearing trees and debris from their properties, and we hope to help many more.

If you are interested in joining us as a volunteer, we are accepting Day Volunteers in Louisiana. Please take into consideration that we do not have the capacity to house or feed our volunteers at this time. Please email us at volunteer@nechama.org.

Your donation will help to continue our services with the residents of Lake Charles.
