Wendy traveled from Minneapolis to spend three weeks volunteering with us in Puerto Rico. Having volunteered with us on previous Projects, Wendy had continued to follow our online updates. ‘My most rewarding volunteer experiences have been with Nechama. 'When this opportunity came up I jumped on it - what better way to celebrate my birthday?'

For three weeks Wendy worked with our Team, and Americorps to rebuild concrete roofs that were damaged in Hurricane Maria. Her larger-than-life personality kept our volunteer teams entertained throughout the day. ‘WOW! Three weeks that changed my life! I take away memories of kind and generous people’.

Thank you for your time spent with us Wendy, we appreciate your support and hope you will join us on another project soon!
