We want to take a moment to give a huge shout-out to two groups who have joined us in our Hurricane Ida response efforts. The individuals in each of these groups spent a brief time volunteering with us but will leave a lasting impact on the families they assisted!

The Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans brought a group of 9 people to volunteer in September. The group helped salvage personal belongings, in addition to removing damaged walls, insulation, flooring, and furniture. In total, they gave 36 hours of time in one afternoon to help this family impacted by Hurricane Ida. We are grateful for their continued partnership and look forward to working with more groups in the future!

A second group joined our Hurricane Ida response efforts over the last weekend from NCSY Relief Missions. The group of 18 joined us for two days, logging 210 volunteer hours to assist three families during their two-day trip. We look forward to their continued partnership as they return with more groups in the upcoming weeks to assist families in Louisiana!
