We are excited to announce the appointment of Rabbi Scott Klein as our new Jewish Education and Engagement Consultant! This newly created role underscores NECHAMA's commitment to deepening its relationship with the Jewish community and integrating Jewish values into its disaster recovery efforts.

Rabbi Klein brings a wealth of experience in Jewish education, community engagement, and nonprofit leadership to NECHAMA. He is an active-duty Jewish chaplain in the United States Army, holds a doctorate in educational leadership, and has served in a number of Jewish community leadership roles.

In this role, Rabbi Klein will focus on developing educational materials, cultivating partnerships with Jewish organizations and interfaith groups, and creating a “Recovery Shabbat” program to engage synagogues nationwide in NECHAMA’s work.
