As Hanukkah approaches and we are near the end of 2024, we want to take a moment to reflect on all that NECHAMA has accomplished this year, with great thanks to our volunteers and supporters.

This year, NECHAMA has:

Responded to floods, tornadoes, and hurricanes across five states: Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and North Carolina.

Provided critical relief, including delivering 2,000 meals in the immediate aftermath of disasters and completing 1,600 case management calls through Crisis Cleanup.

Logged 2,723 hard earned volunteer hours through “mucking and gutting” homes, removing debris from properties, providing mold remediation treatments - ensuring that victims of disasters can start recovering their lives as soon as possible.

Maximized our impact by partnering with dozens of disaster relief and volunteer organizations, across a wide range of faiths and social causes.

These milestones reflect the heart of NECHAMA: Bringing comfort, hope, and healing through Tikkun Olam.
