Hurricane Florence - Horry County Response

Hurricane Florence caused historic flooding across the Carolinas in September 2018. Twenty-nine counties in North Carolina were under emergency declaration. NECHAMA deployed to Horry County, South Carolina, where communities were dealing with widespread flooding. The team assisted families with gutting homes, tarping roofs, and helping sort through damaged personal belongings.
