NECHAMA Executive Director Bill Driscoll Jr. and Operations Manager Dan Hoeft are on the ground in Oklahoma to begin the crucial phase of assessing the damage from Monday’s tornado in the suburbs of Oklahoma City.

NECHAMA is actively participating in the early damage assessments in collaboration with the other volunteer, state, and federal response agencies.

Since late last week NECHAMA’s Dan Hoeft and Mark McGilvery have been on the ground in Illinois assessing the situation from the most recent floods that have affected several Midwestern states.

After surveying the damage in several areas, NECHAMA set up shop and immediately began mucking out homes in Marseilles, IL.

We are currently seeking a qualified Field Team Leader to supervise volunteers on site for our Hurricane Sandy Recovery Program.

They will ensure proper material installation and volunteer safety while providing continuity at the worksite.
