NECHAMA will be assisting with sandbag production in Stillwater, MN this Friday, March 18th.
We will be working from 8 a.m until 2:30 p.m. NECHAMA has a van that will be leaving from our office at 6:45 a.m. and will be returning after we finish our shift that ends at 2:30 p.m. There will be a 30 minute lunch break from 11:00 until 11:30, please bring your own lunch.
The van holds 11 people. If more than 11 people would like to volunteer, we will be looking at the potential of carpooling to Stillwater.
For those that cannot work the entire shift, we would still be grateful if you could join us by meeting us in Stillwater at any point during this period. Please contact Chad directly to work out details.
The task in Stillwater will consist of lifting 20-30 pound sandbags repeatedly over several hours. This task requires you to be able to bend and lift the sandbags over the course of the day.
If you are interested in joining NECHAMA for this great opportunity, please email costlund@nechama.org to register.
