Grafton, ND– Nechama Jewish Response to Disaster sent its flood cleanup equipment to help residents in and around Grafton, N. Dakota. Early spring rains coupled with frozen ground created overland flooding conditions that have affected at least 600 homes. Most reports were of extensive flooding in basements and first level rooms. Deployment manager, Ken Streiff was dispatched to the area to work with the United Methodist Church and other local volunteers to begin pumping out and cleaning up.
