St. Paul, MN - Nechama received a 15 person passenger van courtesey of Lutheran Social Services-Lutheran Disaster Response (LDR). The van was part of LDR's fleet that was replaced by newer vehicles. But it was just fine for Nechama's use. Due to Nechama's growth in volunteers, equipment supplies and response area, the van will be used both for transporting equipment and volunteers. LDR and Nechama have been partners in disaster response for the past five years. The contribution of the van was just another show of support and goodwill between the groups. Nechama did however agree that LDR staffers could always ride in the front seat! Thanks to Melanie Josephson, LDR Director for arranging this donation.
